One of my favorite spots for doing family photos is along Officer’s row for a number of reasons. The first reason I like this spot is because there are usually no people there. This is basically a large grassy area with nobody in it (my ideal place for some family pictures because people are more comfortable without having a lot of people staring at them – pictures are already awkward enough for many people). The second reason I like this one is because it is basically 3 minutes from my studio. It makes the commute really easy.

This has been the shot that we always do as kids. Same wall. Same stance. Same order.

And THAT is where I came from. Haha. It’s a bummer we don’t see each other that much anymore. We are all so busy with a lot of different things. Jessica will be attending the University of Connecticut for their Masters program. She did amazing at University of Idaho and has a full ride + a stipend for school. She’s getting paid to go there! I’m proud of her. I did show her everything she knows so partially it’s like I’m proud of myself.
