I had the wonderful opportunity to document Nick Vujicic speaking at camas on 3 different occasions! I feel like I’m one of literally millions that have been truly inspired by this man. Let me tell you a little bit about Nick Vujicic. Nick was born without arms or legs. He has what he calls his “drumstick” for a left foot but Nick Vujicic is no “chicken” by any means. Nick has traveled to 19 nations and spoken thousands of times to all sorts of people. Each time I heard him he struck a chord in me, challenging me to love louder and to care deeper for ALL. To read more about Nick visit his website: http://www.lifewithoutlimbs.org/.
To prepare for Nick Vujicic the friends and volunteers at Grace Foursquare Church began setting up the stage which was borrowed from Mike Miller’s The Fight Of Your Life.

Joshua Son, Worship Pastor of Grace Foursquare Church hauling cables. There were a TON of cables!

Getting the sound board ready.

Oh no! Godzilla (Joshua Son) is back!

BJ Lunde is a fan of sitting on boxes. He makes it look so easy.

This is how we settle our differences at Grace!

Technical Director, Alan Ecoff setting up the kick drum.
The following day we get to Skyridge Middle School where there is an assembly and Nick is the guest speaker. He did an amazing job and the kids loved him for it!

This was snapped just before the assembly
Here is a video I took with my Canon 5d Mark II. It’s a video demonstrating how Nick gets himself up.

Afterwards, everyone came up to meet him. Even my old science teacher, John Condon!
Next, we were off to Camas High School for another assembly.

These empty chairs are soon to be filled with tons of kids!

Here is Pastor Ezra introducing Nick to the crowd at Camas High School

Everybody laughed at Nicks sense of humor. I wish I could hang out with this guy. I think we would get along great with each other, pulling pranks on people left and right!

KGW news showed up as well and documented this event. I have been in little snippets of the news a lot lately.

Nick packed the house! My favorite quote from him was, “My job is to stand at the gates of hell and redirect traffic”

Again, Everyone wanted to meet him!
Later that evening, there was the Camas 2009 Baccalaureate service. Nick spoke there and was still cracking the audience up!

There was worship lead by Joshua Son and tons of people from the Camas community.

There was not really any place for me to move around without getting in the way of people.

There goes Elizabeth Morris on the keys!

The Camas Mayor showed up as well!

And look who it is, Devin Horn!
