As you can see this wedding was beautiful. It was especially awesome for me because I showed up a few days early to hang out with the wedding party. I went 4-wheeling, golfing, drinking some brews on the boat, and staying in the mansion with the groomsmen. It was truly an awesome experience for me! Just take a look at where this wedding was:

A beautiful location for some beautiful people… Jessica Presley and Peter Godarze.

Jessica had a great natural smile. Looked great in all of the photos.

This is the shot of Jessica and Peter that we took 1 day before the wedding for guests to sign.

Backlit doors always make great dress hanging pictures.

The bridesmaids were all really fun too. I can see why my sister is friends with these girls!

Always looking for a cool placement of the wedding rings…

This is the reaction the bridesmaids had as Jessica was getting her dress bodice tied.

Here is my sister whispering in Jess’ ear.

Haha. Great natural laughter here. It’s always easy to get people to smile when I do stupid stuff.

The flower girl was incredibly cute.

Flower girl and maid of honor walking to our photoshoot on the golf course where we met a couple on their 16 year anniversary. Congrats!

And THERE is the shot I wanted. Too bad it was the only spot on the course with shade and we had to walk a ways to get there. I think it was worth it, don’t you?

Now it’s time to hop over to the OTHER mansion and snap photos of the groom. Peter was less than thrilled to get his picture taken at first but at the end of the weekend we got along pretty well. He’s a great dude and will make a great husband for Jess!

Who’s ready for a shot of PATRON before the wedding?!

Guys don’t complain when the look this legit!

Wait, did somebody say Peter worked for the Mafia?

Now we are moments before the wedding as Jessica looks to her Pappa and Grandma who passed away kept in a locket with her flowers. This was a really sentimental shot
. I don’t know if I liked the one I did in B&W or color more. We’ll see what she thinks.

Three exposure HDR shot, handheld. This looks so cool!

This is Peter sneaking in for a kiss during the candle lighting portion of the ceremony as Jess is telling Peter, “You aren’t supposed to kiss me yet!”

I loved the stained-glass cross in the background. Nice little church.

Wedding party in front of one of the mansions.

This is exactly what the sun looked like that day for Jessica and Peter.

Off to the reception now… goodbye!
Jessica’s Nanny handmade all of those napkins for her wedding wich was very special to Jessica. She is VERY close to Nanny!
Meeting with the guests now.

Again, cutest flowergirl ever!

Jess’s great candid laugh during the toast.

Someone got a little messy with the cake.

The whole time during the wedding this kid wanted cake. When he finally got it (RIGHT after the bride and groom had their slice) the whole party laughed at this eager cake eater. He got a little embarrassed.

Many tears of joy were shed here.

I don’t know what this dude’s name was but I want to call him Walter. He was the only one outside eating his cake. I snapped this as I was on my way out to do group shots by the dock.

My 580 EX II speedlight was at full power with a shoot-thru umbrella filling in their faces to get sunlight in the background AND detail in their faces.

Ok, back to the party, let’s dance!
